Okinawa Night is back! With a special Ryoji Nabe (Japanese hot pot)!
Join us on Sunday, October 23, 4 – 10pm 

Nabe will be served 5 – 8pm

This popular monthly event is a chance for us to bring a bit of our home cuisine, culture, and music to Toronto. We will prepare a special Ryoji Nabe (Japanese Hot Pot) and have a live DJ playing a mix of Okinawan and modern music.

It’s a great opportunity for those from Okinawa and those who are familiar or curious about Okinawa culture to meet and make new friends, to try our signature Okinawa dishes, and enjoy our friendly and laid back atmosphere.

The elaborate Nabe is $20 per person. And you can enjoy half-priced house sake (a perfect complement to our hot pot extravaganza. All attendees who partake will be entered into a raffle to win fun prizes from Sanko!

Our Okinawa night is a chance for us to bring a bit of our home cuisine, culture, and music to Toronto with a Special Okinawa Buffet and live DJ playing a mix of Okinawa and modern music.
It’s a great opportunity for those from Okinawa and those who are familiar or curious about Okinawa culture to meet and make new friends, try our signature Okinawa dishes, and enjoy our friendly and laid back atmosphere.

Tickets are $30 for the buffet. We also will be having $5.99 cocktails and $2 sake. All attendees who purchased a ticket will be entered into a raffle to win fun prizes!

Live Music Night! Featuring Sophie Berkal-Sarbit & John Connell

At Ryoji, we like to give some love to local talent. We will be hosting a live music night on Thursday, February 18th from 7-10 PM with singer Sophie Berkal-Sarbit accompanied by guitarist John Connell.

Sophie

Sophie Berkal-Sarbit is a jazz vocalist who has been performing since she was 11 years old, has performed at the National Jazz Awards, and was awarded Top Vocalist Honours at the 2003 New York International Music Festival.


John Connell is a blues, folk, and jazz guitar player from Nova Scotia who has played with various musical talents at jazz and blues festivals.

Both currently reside in Toronto and we look forward to having them perform at Ryoji!

We will also be offering 1/2 price chicken wings and $5 Shochu Highballs.

On Monday, January 18, 2016, we hosted our third year anniversary with Toronto!

The night included a welcome shot of sake, $3 Chef Special’s Roast Pork, $3 Okinawa Sampler (including Ryoji’s signature Ji-ma-mi), and a raffle where people won fun prizes!

It was a fantastic event and we look forward to another successful year ahead!
